Thank you for a wonderful evening!

I had such a wonderful time meeting you all in person! What a fabulous group of ladies you are all! Seriously, I so enjoyed getting to know you all a bit. My only complaint was that I was so busy running around I didn't get the opportunity to chat with you more one-on-one.

I wanted to thank you all for attending last night, and I hope you had as much fun as I did. I'm sorry we didn't get to play some of the games we'd planned, but things were running behind schedule and there just wasn't time. My apologies for that.

For those who turned in their Car and Driver game sheets, I couldn't find the answer key last night, so I brought your answer sheets home and will grade those tonight or tomorrow. I'll post the winner on the blog and then email the winner to get your address and send you your price--a large metal diecast model of Bella's red Chevy truck.

I hope everyone enjoyed their candy apples, place mats, bookmarks, and rubber bracelets/or movie posters. We wanted to make sure everyone walked away with a few goodies... :)

My mom took an insane amount of pictures, and she's going to send those to me on CD. Once she does, I'll post those to the site here, so look for them in the next week or so.

I am curious to find out what everyone thought of the movie, so I'll be posting a poll up on the site in short order. Having seen the movie a few times now, I did want to mention to any that might have felt disappointed after the movie, try seeing it one more time. It has gotten better for me each time, as I've been able to view it more and more as its own stand-alone movie rather than a version of the book I know inside and out.

We are planning on putting together a few informal get-togethers over the next couple of months, including an outing to the zoo or aquarium (kids invited!). If you're interested in attending these, keep checking the blog for information.

Lastly, as I mentioned to many of you, we have bigger and better plans for New Moon when/if it gets made. Some of you told me you'd like to help out with that event. If that's still the case, please send me an email to SeattleTwilightEvents@yahoo.com, as we want to set up some planning committees to discuss ideas.

Thank you again for coming last night! I really, really enjoyed meeting you and hope to get the chance to spend more time with all of you.

Stacie
